Academy Improvement Board (AIB)

Tove Learning Trust has established an Academy Improvement Board (AIB) to drive rapid improvement at CE Academy.  The role of the AIB is to drive up standards of teaching & learning, improve behaviour and raise attendance as well as ensuring that students are kept safe and happy.  AIB members are appointed by the Tove Learning Trust and they bring significant expertise and skills to address the priorities of the school.  The AIB will provide regular updates to parents to share details of the progress being made.  In the longer term, once the AIB has secured the right level of improvement a Local Governing Body will be established.  The Local Governing Body will be a larger group and will include elected parent Governors.
